A letter from me (dictated by my husband) to Roy Beggs MP dated 26/4/1990.

Dear Roy,
In view of the importance of your impending meeting with Mrs Deirdre Bowers, the present Official Solicitor, I respectfully suggest that you should make it a condition of such a meeting taking place, that my husband and I should be permitted to be present at the aforementioned meeting and allowed to put pertinent and relevant questions to the Official Solicitor.
Failure, on the part of Mrs Bowers to accede to this reasonable request, should be met with the ultimatum of continued recourse to Members of Parliament, Ministers of State, the Lord Chancellor's Department, and the media etc.
No disrespect or lack of confidence in your skill to deal with the Official Solicitor is meant or intended by the asking of our request to accompany you to the future meeting with Mrs. Bowers.

Kindest regards and good hunting
Yours sincerely
Eileen Wright
