A letter from me to Chief Constable dated 14/8/1998.

Dear Sir,
I have been working for many years with regard to the fraudulent takeover of my brother's entire valuable estate. We approached the fraud squad in 1980. A two and a half year detailed indepth investigation was carried out by the late Det. M. Patterson. He was a very dedicated officer who spent many hours overtime to expose the truth.
For some reason or other, unknown to the family at that time, a Court Order was put on Freddie's case 20 years ago according to the present Official Solicitor Mr. Redpath. I have only just recently been made aware of this information.
It is only now that I can understand why the late Fraud Officer was denied the right to speak at the closed hearings. I was stunned at the time when not only was he denied the right to speak but also denied the right to have a note book.
We would be very grateful if the fraud officers findings could now be produced as evidence in defence of my brother Freddie Andrews in open court.
I have been fortunate in having plenty of press coverage in order to keep the case in the public eye.
I am now 76 years of age and naturally I would like the RUC investigations to be re-opened. A two and a half year investigation by a dedicated officer can not just disappear.
It has now come to my notice that someone is now claiming that they bought part of a lean-to adjoining Winetavern St. This property did not belong to Freddie but was bought by the D.O.E. for 18,000. I would like this sale investigated by the RUC.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
(Mrs) Eileen Wright
