4 Norwood Gdns,
I am at my wits end about the maintenance of Freddie's home.
The rain literally pours in the back bedroom and we have to keep a basin on the floor.
This is not Freddie's fault. He has already paid £7,000 for wrecking this house - you saw the result! Why should he have to pay again?
I got a builder to give me a run-down and I enclose his remarks. His typing isn't of the best but he seems to know his job.
There is one thing I would like to bring to your notice. Mr H. Wright it would appear got £375,000 for Freddie's Smithfield property nine years ago, so why did (Official Solicitor) Brian Hall try to rush through this sale for £110,000 with the help of his estate agent. Then suddenly it went up to £150,000. I didn't know property went down in value. It's an interesting point!
No-one will put anyting in print. I expect they know I will pass all on to you.
I sent Dr. Lyons a letter which you will probably get when he sees you.
I feel terrible that Freddie has to live in such bad conditions. I have had to pay for the redecoration of the back bedroom and putting down a new carpet and now we will have to start in our own bedroom.
When my mother came into this house she had to pay for handbasins in the bedrooms and put in a cloakroom and fix it up as best as she could. It was in a derelict condition and lay for some time for sale.
Is there any way you could bring this to the notice of the Courts?
If Bob Lennon is in town he could call.
