Dear Mrs Wright
Your letter dated 3 September 1997 refers.
On 16 October 1992 the former Chairman of the Commission, Mr H E Pierce, wrote to you and advised you that he did not consider that the Mental Health Commission had any further part to play in the matters about which you complained.
If some new issues have arisen which you have not been able to resolve with the responsible person or body, you should write me shortly setting out such issues, the steps you have taken to resolve these, and the reasons why you consider they should now be brought to the attention of the Commission. On receipt of your letter the Commission will consider the points you raise and will advise you whether or not it has any function to fulfil in the matter.
Secretary to the Commission
