Dear Mrs Wright
I refer to your letter received on 14 November 1991 and Mr Walsh's acknowledgement of 19 November 1991.
I regret the delay in replying. This is due to the Commission having to engage in a review of all the available information relating to the case.
However, I have been asked to inform you that as no additional facts have come to light since the Commission wrote to you on 19 Setptember 1989, it regrets that there is no further action it can take at this time.
M KERR (MISS)
Assistant Secretary to the Commission
[The head of the Mental Health Commission was Mr. Kerr Q.C. now Lord Chief Justice Kerr. I wonder if there is a connection?]
