Another example of the behaviour of an Official Solicitor.

While we were living in 4 Norwood Gardens we had brought my mother's bed downstairs as she was very frail and we wanted to be near her. My sister Vera, a neighbour's young son and myself were sitting in the lounge. The Official Solicitor at the time, Mrs. Deirdre Bowers, walked in the front door carrying a large Office bag on her arm. She just burst into the lounge and shouted, "There are people in this house I am not responsible for." She just walked out again. She never opened her bag, never sat down to have a chat, never asked about my mother and did not even take the time to ask about Freddie.

As it states in the official book "Committees", a Committee should always be a close relative of the patient. Solicitors should not be appointed Committee of a patient. They don't have the training, the time, the temperament, the character, the interest or the manner to be in such an important position and this case goes to prove that.
