The following is part of the findings of Det. Con. M. Patterson in regard to accounts prepared by the first Official Solicitor, Mr. J. G. Drennan.
This is a sample of the detailed manner in which Fraud Squad Officer M. Patterson carried out his work. He was just as precise in regard to much more serious matters and much larger sums of money in this case, but the Official Solicitor and the Police refuse to act on Patterson's findings and no doubt will be equally reluctant in allowing anyone else to see those findings. Given the appalling manner in which the Official Solicitor kept the accounts of this small area of my brother's case it is little wonder that there is such a massive cover-up on the part of every government and legal department involved in the Care and Protection of my brother's estate. It is also maybe an indication why Mr. Patterson died of a gunshot wound to the head.
